QUITO RSS/Flex is a super decorative flexible covering with pronounced texture quality.
The elastic nature makes it inherently adequate for extensible protective coatings.
It has excellent weather resistant properties.
The acrylic copolymer provides the material with exceptional adhesion, flexibility, toughness and durability.
Freeze thaw stability: Very good.
High temperature stability: Good.
Apply with a good wide brush, roller or spray gun. Different decorative designs could be achieved with the use of a sponge or any hard object for making a repetitive design.
Preparation of surface: Remove dust, moss growth and wax from surface.
Weatherproof |
Heat and humidity extremes have virtually no effect on the texcoated surface. It seals out moisture and contains powerful fungicides to protect against mildew damage. |
Won\'t Crack or peel |
High elasticity is a permanent characteristic of Quito Flexible Texcoat. It stretches to accommodate normal building flex and settling. It does not crack, peel, or lose adhesion. |
Thicker Than Paint |
When applied as recommended, it has a dry film thickness 10 to 20 times thicker than ordinary paint coatings. |
Hides Structural Defects |
It gives new and old construction a uniform, attractive appearance that lasts for years. It bridges cracks, pits, and other structural irregularities, yet does not alter original architectural lines. |
Beautifies And Insulates |
Insulates and provides a beautiful, durable surface. Rough, unsightly surfaces take on a deep textured appearance with Quito Flexible Texcoat. |
Fire- Resistant |
Completely fire- resistant, and remains so for the life of the coating. |
Excellent Color Retention |
Quito texcoat retains its rich, original color years longer than paint. |
Environmentally Safe |
It contains no lead, asbestos, or any other materials, which are considered hazardous or injurious to one\\\'s health. |
Coverage Capital |
Flexible Rolocoat covers 30 to 35 square meters per 5 U.S. gal. |
Cost Effective |
It is extremely economical when compared to paint or stucco colour coat over a period of time. Stucco and paint are unable to combat the deteriorating stresses of weathering for any extended periods, making Quito Texcoat the most cost-effective choice. |
Easily Apllied |
It is easily applied by a spray gun or the roll-on method in the fine Rolocoat version and by plastic or inox trowel in the coarser GRAFITTO- BOUCHARD /GRATIN –MONOCOUCHE - SINDTEX. Surface preparation is essentially the same as for any paint coating. |
